The Owensboro Bowlodrome and Club 300 are up for sale and the facility is already piquing the interest of potential buyers. After eight years as the owner, Susan Dockery said she’s ready to sell the 20,000 square-foot facility, priced at $399,000.
The bowling alley and bar was purchased by Dockery’s husband in 2013. Throughout that time — even during the COVID-19 pandemic — Dockery said business has been good.
After her husband’s death, Dockery said she was still willing to run the facility by herself. But after the loss of three weekend employees, Dockery said she knew it was time to turn the keys over to someone else.

“We put up quite a bit of money in 2020 to do updates,” she said.
Even though the Bowlodrome and Club 300 have only been open on Fridays and Saturdays in recent months, Dockery said business has still performed well.
“It’s doing really good, but it’s time,” she said of her decision to sell. “I have a mechanic ready to come back, and a bartender. Someone will do really well with it.”
Dockery said everything inside the facility will belong to the new owner, aside from the liquor (the new owner would have to obtain their own liquor license). That includes a large patio and building out back that has a lot of potential, she said.
Though it’s only been on the market for two days, Dockery said she’s received a lot of phone calls from interested buyers, saying one realtor and broker were “really impressed with it.”
“It’s a great buy, but I would be willing to negotiate on the price,” she said.
The Bowlodrome and Club 300 are located at 600 E. 14th Street.
