Cava, a mediterranean brand that operates 80 restaurants and a wide range of products sold in food markets, is taking a tech-forward approach in updating and evolving its app.
The enhanced app merges the in-restaurant and digital experience to create a personalized experience for guests, according to a press release.
Customers can use the app to order ahead, customize meals or select a pickup area convenient for them. They can link credit and debit cards to the app and earn rewards every time they pay.
In addition, the app includes the following features:
• Walk-the-line: The visual UX allows guests to order exactly as they would while walking the line in the restaurant.
• Image-based ordering: Guests can order by selecting images (or text) associated with specific ingredients.
• New access points: The app will offer curbside pick-up, delivery, Apple Pay and guest check-out.
• Dietary preferences: Guests can set and edit dietary preferences including sugar free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, sesame free, vegan, vegetarian and paleo.
The Cava app is available for iOS and Android and will soon feature OneTap payments, improved location searches and the ability to group order.
