This piece of Detroit Tigers history is something you might expect to see in a museum, but it’s available for purchase at Costco. The retail giant is selling this autographed Ty Cobb baseball bat for $160,000. The inscription reads “with best wishes sincerely Ty Cobb - 3/14/49.”

Only one bat is for sale and available online via Costco. The bat comes with a certification of authenticity from PSA/DNA and includes an individually numbered, tamper-evident hologram. The condition of the item and signature are graded 10.

Nicknamed, “The Georgia Peach,” Cobb played for the Tigers from 1905 to 1926. He also was a player/manager from 1921 to 1926. The Hall of Famer still holds the MLB record for the highest career batting average at .367.

The 12-time batting champion is second in hits all-time to Pete Rose with 4,191. He’s fourth all-time in stolen bases, 9th in RBIs and second in runs scored.
