The luxury real estate market in Dallas has long ranked one of the top-selling in the U.S. But the pandemic-driven market has blown away sales trends from previous years, with many estates valued at $5 million or more spending just a few months on the market before they sell.
During the first months of 2021, the luxury experts at Allie Beth Allman & Associates sold estates totaling $382 million, including several “exceptional” properties. Now that Dallas ranks 11th in the world and 4th in the nation for the number of ultra-high net worth individuals owning a home here, according to the Wealth-X REALM Residential Real Estate 2021 Report, that trend should continue.
Almost 5,000 ultra-wealthy individuals call Dallas home, a number that grew 12.6% in 2020, according to the Wealth-X REALM report.
To find your estate, talk with the experts at the Allman firm, the leading brokerage in selling estates valued at $3 million and above, according to Multiple Listing Service statistics.
Here are four estates that Allman experts recently sold.
The five-bedroom estate at 4121 Windsor Parkway in University Park was sold in April by Lucinda Buford. Built by Ben Coats in 2016, the home features a climate-controlled wine room, bar and butler’s pantry. The large primary bedroom on the second floor has a spa-like bathroom with a steam shower. The backyard includes a fireplace. The second floor of the garage houses guest quarters.
Situated on a gated, 2-acre lot in Preston Hollow, the Mediterranean estate at 10203 Hollow Way Road was sold by Alex Perry to a buyer brought by Stephanie Pinkston and Margie Harris. Built by Cole Smith in 2007, the 10,382-square-foot residence has a grand foyer and staircase. The outdoor amenities include a kitchen, pool and sport court.
Allie Beth Allman and Frank Purcell teamed up this spring to bring new owners to the estate at 3917 Miramar Ave. in Highland Park. Built by George Lewis in 2010, the five-bedroom home features a stone entry surrounded by landscaped grounds. The foyer has a curved staircase and leads to a library. There is also a separate office. Outdoor living amenities include a fireplace and pergola.
The six-bedroom estate at 5031 Deloache Ave. in Preston Hollow is situated on a 2-acre lot and has more than 15,000 square feet of living space. Terri Cox handled the sale of the residence. The primary suite features separate bathrooms and a two-story, boutique-style closet.
