Anyone living in these six states may be receiving some extra pocket cash sometime next year.

Many of these payments are a part of programs that started in 2022, but will not fully wrap up until 2023. Certain requirements will have to be met to receive these payments, such as filing one's taxes on time, and some of these benefits may not be delivered to recipients until May 2023, according to Yahoo Finance.

NEW YORK CASINO HOPES TO BRING ECONOMIC BOOST

CALIFORNIA

The Golden State's payment, titled the Middle Class Tax Refund, has already been given to many Californians, though roughly 5% of recipients are still waiting. The final waves of direct deposits and state-issued debit cards are set to be sent by the end of next month.

To qualify for this payment, applicants must have been residents of California for at least six months during the 2020 tax year, have filed their 2020 taxes by Oct. 15, 2021, and have earned less than $250,000 a year for single filers or less than $500,000 a year for couples in that year.

COLORADO

Many residents of Colorado have already received their payments before Sept. 30, though anyone who filed an extension will have their payment delivered to them by Jan. 31 in the new year. This payment will be worth either $750 for single filers or $1,500 for joint filers.

IDAHO

The Gem State approved 2022 Special Session rebates on Sept. 1, all of which will be paid out by the end of March next year. The amount that full-year residents receive from this will either be $300 for single filers and $600 for joint filers, or 10% of the tax amount reported on a taxpayer’s 2020 income tax liability, depending on whichever is greater, according to the state's tax commission.

The tax commission is expecting to issue roughly 800,000 payments in this rebate, sending as much as $500 million in payments.

NEW JERSEY

The amount that New Jersey homeowners receive will depend on how much money they make, with those making less than $150,000 receiving $1,500 and those earning somewhere between $150,000 to $250,000 getting $1,000. Renters will also be getting a rebate, though they will need to be making less than $150,000 annually and will only get a rebate of $450.

Roughly two million residents will qualify for these rebates, which are scheduled to be paid to recipients by May 2023.

PENNSYLVANIA

Pennsylvania has been giving payments to recipients for a property tax/rent rebate program since July. However, anyone who has not yet filed a claim for this rebate has until Dec. 31 if they want to receive it.

The rebate is intended for Pennsylvanians who are 65 and older, are widows and widowers 50 and older, or are people with disabilities 18 and older. Additionally, the income limit for this rebate is $35,000 annually for homeowners and $15,000 annually for renters, according to Pennsylvania's Department of Revenue.

The maximum amount people can receive from this rebate is $650, but anyone who qualifies for supplemental rebates can receive as much as $975.

SOUTH CAROLINA

While residents who have filed their 2021 SC Individual Income Tax Return by Oct. 17 will receive this rebate before the end of the year, others have until Feb. 15 of next year to file their returns to receive this rebate, which they will receive in March 2023.

The amount a resident will receive from this rebate will be based on his or her 2021 tax liability. For people whose tax liability is less than $800, their rebate will be equal to their tax liability, while filers with a tax liability equal to or over $800 will receive exactly $800, according to the South Carolina Department of Revenue.
