Everything We Know About 'Selling Sunset' Season 4 - HouseBeautiful.com

guduka.blogspot.com

Selling Sunset is the hit Netflix reality show—from the creative minds behind Laguna Beach and The Hills—which follows the lives of a group of successful women in Los Angeles's ultra-competitive, high-end real estate market. Once you finish binging Season 3 this weekend, you'll likely be wondering when Team Oppenheim will be back for round four.

The show stars Heather Rae Young, who is newly engaged to HGTV star Tarek El Moussa. In addition to Young, the show features realtors Mary Fitzgerald, Christine Quinn, Chrishell Stause, Davina Potraz, and Maya Vander alongside the owners of the real-life real estate company where they work: Jason and Brett Oppenheim of The Oppenheim Group. Amanza Smith, an interior design specialist, joined the show in Season 3.

When is Selling Sunset Season 4 premiering?

Netflix has not yet announced a fourth installment of Selling Sunset. However, two signs point to the fact that a new eight-episode season is definitely on the horizon. First, Season 3 quickly became one of the top 10 shows on the streaming platform during its premiere weekend. Second, Quinn suggested in a recent interview that a new season had only been delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"Unfortunately, it has been affected. So usually, we get picked up after the show airs," she told Grazia in June. "You know, we'll hear some information, some rumblings. With Season 2 being in the top 10 [on Netflix], I think we're definitely going to get picked up. But everything has been setback due to COVID. We’re going to shoot next year now, I'm hearing. We have such a big production, there's so many people on our crew. I don't think we'd be filming this year."

How can I stream and watch Selling Sunset?

The series is a Netflix exclusive, meaning you can only watch it if you have a log-in to the streaming platform. Though there may be a wait for Season 4, you can watch or re-watch the first three eight-episode seasons for free if you sign up for a month-long trial. After the 30-day period, you can resubscribe for as little as $8.99 a month.

Young's wedding to El Moussa will likely be a major plot point

Since Season 3 wrapped, Flipping 101 star El Moussa got down on one knee to propose to Young. If the previous two installments are any indication, Young's wedding will be a major plot point of a potential fourth season. Fitzgerald and Quinn both had their weddings featured in the finales of Season 2 and Season 3, respectively.

El Moussa confirmed that the couple's surprise engagement was filmed by HGTV. Young previously told House Beautiful that El Moussa did not appear on Selling Sunset due to his contract with the network. Unless this changes before production resumes, it seems unlikely he'll appear on the show.

Do expect to see more of the couple's relationship on camera in the future, though: Young previously expressed interest to House Beautiful in doing a show with El Moussa—when the timing is right.

"I'm learning through Tarek how to design homes, how to flip homes, how to knock down this wall to make it this," she said. "Things that I never knew before. And he walks me through how to do all that. I would love to keep learning with Tarek, and he learns from me—my L.A. style. We would love to do a show together. It just has to be the right time."

Stause's new life as a single woman will likely take center stage, too

In Season 3, we finally learned new details about Stause's divorce from This Is Us star Justin Hartley. The sixth episode of the season was titled "One Text Changes Everything," and the meaning turned out to be quite literal. "I found out, because he texted me that he had filed," Stause told Fitzgerald. "Forty-five minutes later, the world knew."

In July, Stause asked for her legal name to be restored by a court. Hartley cited irreconcilable differences when he filed for divorce after two years of marriage. Despite the personal setback, Stause appears to be putting her best foot forward. "There is always a reason to smile," the 38-year-old wrote on Instagram this week. "You just have to find it."

The divorce may also fuel drama on a potential new season after Quinn told Page Six that Stause had gone to therapy with her ex. "I just learned Christine is giving press ‘information’ about my divorce," Stause wrote in a follow-up tweet. "Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation."
