TROY – A technical glitch has led the city to extend the deadline to pay property taxes until Monday Aug. 3.

The city announced Friday night that “due to technical difficulties with the city’s online payment portal, the deadline for payment of 2nd installment of 2020 property taxes has been extended through close-of-business Monday, August 3rd, 2020.”

Anyone opting to pay by mail must have a postmark of Aug. 3 on their envelope to avoid late fees.
