Donald Trump Jr. has begun selling merchandise that mocks Alec Baldwin, after the actor fatally shot a cinematographer during an on-set incident last week.

Since then, Trump has been sharing several Instagram photos and stories, including one with the words "Guns don't kill people, Alec Baldwin kills people", emblazoned on it. The T-shirts are selling in blue, black and green for $27.99 each.

Trump, 43, shared another Instagram story showing a photoshopped image of Baldwin wearing the same T-shirt.

On Sunday, Trump shared a meme of Homer Simpson that said "Let's all watch Alex Baldwin blame the gun."

Trump also on Sunday shared a picture of Baldwin with a stone-cold expression on Instagram with a caption that read: "That look when an anti gun nut kills more people than your extensive firearm collection ever has...."

Baldwin, 63, whose comical impersonation of Donald Trump when he was president garnered widespread attention, has previously been outspoken against the National Rifle Station (NRA) and other guns rights activists. The former president's son, on the other hand, was reportedly considering a run for the executive vice president position at the NRA in December last year.

Baldwin has also previously called for Donald Trump's impeachment.

Newsweek has contacted Baldwin's team and Donald Trump Jr for comment.

The tragic shooting involving Baldwin, 63, occurred on October 21, just outside Santa Fe, New Mexico, where Baldwin was filing Rust.

He was filming the upcoming western film when a prop gun discharged and wounded writer-director Joel Souza, 48, and director of photography Halyna Hutchins, 42, the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

Hutchins was transported by helicopter to University of New Mexico Hospital, where she later "succumbed to her injuries." Souza was treated for his injuries at Christus St. Vincent's hospital.

The sheriff's office added that no charges had been filed and that an investigation of the incident remains active and ongoing.

Court documents say that Baldwin was handed the prop gun by an assistant director, who told him it was unloaded.

Balwin, who is also known for his roles in 30 Rock and The Hunt for Red October, has described the killing as a "tragic accident." On October 22 he said there were "no words" to express his sadness and shock.

Other right-wing figures have also made jokes about the death of Hutchins in recent days.

Lauren Boebert, a prominent gun rights activist, shared a screengrab of a 2014 tweet by Baldwin on October 22.

It said, "I'm going to make bright, yellow banana yellow t-shirts that read 'my hands are up. Please don't shoot me.' Who wants one?"

Boebert shared the tweet, adding the message, "@AlecBaldwin are these still available? Asking for a movie producer..."
