Foster Twp. supervisors met Wednesday, approving a payment to Greenland Construction in the amount of $26,362.19 for the Foster Avenue/Route 940 sewer extension project.
Construction will begin Monday and is anticipated to last approximately six weeks.
The supervisors approved a deadline extension request for the National Sisterhood United for Journeymen Linemen subdivision and land development project until Nov. 30.
The White Haven police department patrolled for 189 hours in Foster Twp. in September. They responded to 81 calls to service, including 14 traffic offenses, one motor vehicle crash and two DUIs.
Nine zoning permits, nine building permits, one stormwater and two demolition permits were issued last month.
