LIVINGSTON, NJ — Final tax bills for Livingston Township residents—certified at a rate of $2.271 per $100 of the assessed value for 2020—are now available online and will be mailed to all taxpayers by the end of July, according to the township.
Due to the current health crisis, the third-quarter grace period has been extended to Aug. 25 to pay without interest, although interest will revert back to the original due date of Aug. 1 if taxes are not paid by Aug. 25.
Although Livingston municipal offices reopened to the public on Monday, the township is encouraging residents to pay their taxes online and to conduct other business remotely through the township website or via mail, Email or phone.
