The Telegraph Hill home in San Francisco where the Grateful Dead reportedly signed their first record contract is for sale for $3.25 million.

The home was formerly occupied by music promoter/producer Tom “Big Daddy” Donahue in the 1960’s. He hosted many famous celebs in the home including the legendary group.

The renovated 2,363 square foot three-bedroom, three-bath home includes an office, city views and an outdoor living space with a fire pit.

The 1907 home is listed for the first time in 18 years by Compass agent Ron Sebahar.

Eclectic rock band the Grateful Dead was formed in Palo Alto in 1965 and became a symbol of the counterculture period. Its founding members were Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Ron McKernan, Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzmann. The band has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide.
