Raven-Symoné, star of the Disney Channel's “That’s So Raven,” is letting go of her home in Sherman Oaks, CA. The actress and singer has placed her longtime Mediterranean pad on the market for $2.1 million. She purchased the place in 2009 for $1.4 million.
The former Disney star seems to have moved on from the inviting residence, with listing photos that show several empty rooms.
Built in 2007, the gated property features five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, with a guesthouse. Located in a "sought-after" Sherman Oaks neighborhood, the Mediterranean-style abode features dark wood flooring, arched doorways, and a terra-cotta roof.
Enter into a foyer with an eye-catching wrought-iron staircase, topped by a three-tier chandelier.
A living and dining area features a chef’s kitchen complete with pantry, and includes a 10-burner stove, double oven, two dishwashers, king-sized island, and granite counters. The kitchen flows out to the living space.
From there, French doors lead out to the patio and pool. The area also includes a built-in breakfast banquette.
For formal indoor entertaining, the layout includes a formal dining room, complete with chandelier and tray ceilings.
All the bedrooms are en suite, including the primary bedroom, which comes with a fireplace and a balcony that overlooks the backyard.
Outside, the grounds include a pool, hot tub, privacy hedges, and a two-car garage. The guesthouse has its own bath and shower, perfect for a separate office or for welcoming extended family.
Raven, as she’s known, has been on the scene since she was a child, appearing as Olivia Kendall on “The Cosby Show.” She gained acclaim for her show “That’s So Raven,” as well as for the TV movies “Cheetah Girls” and “Cheetah Girls 2.”
She had a stint as one of the panelists on "The View" in 2015 and 2016. More recently, she’s reprised her role as Raven Baxter in the spinoff “Raven’s Home.” In June, she married Miranda Maday in a small backyard ceremony.
Anne Clare Lush with Compass holds the listing.
