(KNSI) – The 75th St. Cloud July 4th Fireworks display has a unique fundraiser that could become an annual tradition.
St. Cloud Fireworks Committee President Tom Richardson told KNSI’s Bob Hughes that someone came up with the idea to sell towels.
“So we have the first-ever hopefully the first annual commemorative Fourth of July St. Cloud fireworks towel Made in America red, white and blue, the fireworks logo. We’re going to start selling these in the next few days, and people have to listen, but for sure, you’re going to be able to get them in western Wilson Park and the day of the event.”
He says there’s a limited number of towels.
“There’s a limited quantity because they’re made in America. Because of all the inventory shortages of all kinds of items. We had hoped for a lot more. We’ve got less than 1000 of these.
Each towel will be $20, and the quantities will be limited.
All proceeds will go directly to pay for the fireworks display.
