BLOOMINGTON (HOI) - A man suspected of illegally selling the pain-killing opioid fentanyl in Bloomington is a convicted murderer, McLean County prosecutors said on Friday.

A judge set bond for Dujuan Enos, 48, at $500,000, meaning he has to come up with $50,000 cash to be released from the McLean County Jail.

Prosecutors on Friday filed 11 felony charges against Enos, including that he was illegally in possession of handgun ammunition, after being convicted in a 1995 Cook County murder case. Records indicate Enos served about 20 years of a 20 year prison sentence. He was released from prison in 2015.

Seven of the charges allege he sold fentanyl several times over the last month. Enos is also charged with possession of fentanyl and cocaine with intent to deliver after police said they seized drugs, drug sales equipment, and an undisclosed amount of drug money during a search of his home in Normal. Authorities said they also found Enos in possession of gun ammunition.

His next court date is August 13 at 9 a.m. If he's able to post bond, Enos must show the bail money did not come from illegal sources.
