On the September 1st agenda for Conshohocken’s Borough Council is an item that involves the consideration of approving Resolution 2021-23 authorizing the sale of a ladder truck through Municibid (an online platform used by governments and agencies to sell equipment).
The two local fire companies have one ladder truck each. Washington Fire Company No. 1 has Ladder #55, which according to the fire company’s website has been in service since 1998. Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 has Quint 55, which was put into service in 2019. Both trucks are owned by the borough.
The agenda doesn’t mention which specific truck is up for consideration to be sold, but a source tells MoreThanTheCurve.com that it is Ladder #55.
Details on participating in the remote meeting can be found here.
