Hedge fund manager, activist and former Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer is selling his Pacific Heights mansion in San Francisco for $11 million.

The 5,625-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. It features a modern open-concept family room and kitchen, an independent space for live-in guests and a game room. The property, which boasts views of the bay and the city, also has a large deck, and a backyard with a waterfall and koi pond. An environmentalist, Steyer added eco-friendly amenities such as solar panels, a generator, a solar glass awning along the front of the home, and a double helix wind turbine.

Steyer is the founder and former co-senior-managing-partner of Farallon Capital. He is currently a partner and member of the executive committee at Hellman & Friedman, a San Francisco–based private equity firm. Steyer sought the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.
