After selling out twice, footwear company Reef is releasing another collection of leather sandals with removable golf spikes. The shoes come in two Ryder Cup-inspired versions, one for Team USA and one for Team Europe. Each shoe features seven golf spikes on the rubber sole, the flag from the respective team and a built-in bottle opener. The name of these quasi-golf shoes was aptly inspired by everyone’s favorite “Caddyshack” character, Carl Spackler—and we can see why.
This isn’t the first time Reef has made a splash with out-of-the-box golf sandals. A few years ago the brand released a turf-covered flip-flop with a golf ball design at the heel, a tee holder and a bottle opener. They may seem like a novelty product, but these sandals are actually made to last with a high-density EVA outsole, woven liner and super lightweight feel.
