California is about to send another round of gas relief payments worth up to $1,050 next week.
People residing in California received several direct payments in the first days of October, and now they are waiting for another round.
According to the information presented by the state of California, residents awaiting direct payments will have their direct deposit on October 25.
How much money will California deliver to its residents?
The information released by the state illustrated that the automatic payments are worth from $200 to $1,050, as Governor Gavin Newsom signed months ago.
For all residents who didn't file an electronic payment measure, California will distribute debit cards from October 25 to January 15, 2023, with your money.
Around 90% of Californians who received direct deposits should expect their payments at the end of October.
What if I didn't file by direct deposit?
All residents filing their 202o tax returns electronically will receive their gas relief payment by direct deposit.
However, if you didn't file electronically the California Franchise Tax Board mentioned that you would get a debit card by mail.
You will get a debit card in your mail if you:
- Filed a paper return
- Had a balance due
- Received your Golden State Stimulus (GSS) payment by check
- Received your tax refund by check regardless of filing method
- Received your 2020 tax refund by direct deposit, but have since changed your banking institution or bank account number
- Received an advance payment from your tax service provider, or paid your tax preparer fees using your tax refund
