BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Garden Patch in Smiths Grove are selling flowers for Memorial Day.
If you would like to pay tribute to a loved one who served our country, the Garden Patch sells a variety of options for you to choose from to place on your loved one’s grave.
“We do a lot of what they call a saddle that sits on top of the stone. Some cemeteries have just side pieces or vases, so those are all silk flowers that we make up in different colors that they take to the cemetery to remember their loved ones with,” said Esli Pelly, owner.
The Garden Patch is open 7 days a week and they even have a mailbox where you can shop after hours and drop your money off on the honors system.
“We’re pretty much open seven days a week, and so we’re here 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days and on Sunday afternoons. We also have our mailbox still in the front yard where we do have some people who are leftover from not wanting to shop because of COVID and they can shop, and put their money in the mailbox out front,” added Pelly.
The Garden Patch is located at 204 North Main Street in Smiths Grove.
